WEST TO EAST AND BACK AGAIN..ITS THE JOURNEY!
That’s why they call life a journey. Sometimes it can take you across the U.S. a couple times and back just to find where you are meant to be. You have to work hard, trust your instincts, listen to your heart and be open to new opportunities that cross your path. You have to know that your path isn’t going to be a straight paved road, but rather one filled with some bumps, a couple of curves and maybe even some detours. Learn to trust and have faith that every turn is for you. You will gain something of value that will help you grow. When you take those turns, you should open the sunroof, let the sunlight in, let your hair down and enjoy the ride. Sometimes it’s the unexpected things that put you directly inline for the right things to happen. Appreciate the journey. Appreciate all the chances you have been given. Appreciate the people you meet along the way. These things are all there for a reason.
I know that Boston wasn’t the ideal place for me, but I had to go back in order to recognize how much love I truly have for my life in California. I needed to explore that option to recognize that I had grown out of the person I once was. Sometimes when you don’t know which direction you need to go, life takes you on a detour that actually ends up propelling you even further towards the person you are meant to be. Sometimes you can end up where you started, but with age, so many more experiences and life tools under your belt, the “old” actually becomes a way better new. I’ve learned to combine my East Coast experiences with my love for the West Coast and it has made me who I am! I love that I have a little bit of East and West in me. I see it everyday even as I get dressed in the morning! I take the dressy, classy side of Boston and combine it with the more casual trendiness of California. Voila! Me #gratefulfortheexperiences
