TAKING CHANCES AND OVERCOMING FEAR
I don’t think there’s anyone in this world who hasn’t experienced some form of fear. Fear of heights, fear of being alone, fear of the unknown… I could go on and on. Fear prevents us from doing so many of the things that we probably would otherwise enjoy. So why do we let this happen? Part of it is I think we genuinely are habitual creatures by nature. Stepping anywhere outside our comfort zone can feel scary and bring about anxiety. We don’t know beyond what we “know” and when we sit with ourselves long enough that F.E.A.R., (False Evidence Appearing Real) truly in our minds becomes “real”! Just like many of you, I have fought through many bouts with fear and I’ve broken thru many barriers for myself over the years. I will be the first one to tell you how hard it was/is. Sometimes, your fears can seem so rooted in reality that you allow them to take over.
